The Faith of A Politician( Mr. Clemente Talusig of Aguinaldo, Ifugao)

Many years ago during my elementary days I always go to MAP Clinic together with other kids on Saturdays and Sundays. In spite of the nurses being busy with the patients, they find time to gather us and teach Christian songs which I remember one titled Jesus loves me and Bible verses like John 3:16. A nurse led us to prayer of acceptance and I accepted Jesus in my heart as Lord and savior. We continue to come to the clinic for play, fun and merienda.
After my college years I went back to my town Aguinaldo and was invited to a Bible study for adults. Because I have a great respect for adult people, I came and attended.  That was the first time I was refreshed spiritually since my first encounter with the gospel at MAP clinic. I was discipled and I grew in my faith. I got a family and become involved in politics but the Lord is good, He helped me stand to my faith. I was elected Mayor and there, I initiated that all departments in the Municipal Hall will have a Bible Study, also implemented laws and ordinances that are Biblical and beneficial to my constituents.
Medical Ambassadors Philippines was an instrument which God used for me to become who I am today, a servant of the Lord serving as a Mayor of this town for years. Praise the Lord!

“Train up a child in the way he should go, even when he is old he will not depart from it”.
